What an Incredible Opinion leader she is. Wow

One of the biggest opinion leaders is Oprah Winfrey. The Oprah Winfrey Show generates many viewers in the thousands and millions. People tend to listen to anything Opera has to say whether it’s good or bad. On a statistical basis, any product that appears on Oprah’s show experiences a positive spike in sales. This has been proven over and over and with such a result she is truly an influential force. One may say that Oprah is what you would call a true and sincere opinion leader since primarily all she does is give her opinion in most cases, thus, you cannot say she is wrong or right. This is a very tactical way to sell a product.

Certain segments believe that Opera is a reliable source when it comes to books. She is a very successful opinion leader because of her good reputation and her great highlight. Opera is also seen has a role model because of her promotion of global education and her experiences.

Oprah has been a reliable opinion leader for many companies. People trust her opinion no matter what. Sometimes, I wonder if all her recommendations meet the needs of the people who listen to her opinion. I believe that she is great but I do not think that it is possible to just fall in love with a book because Oprah recommends it. We all have different tastes, but  because Oprah makes we ignore that and buy something that she advertises or recommands.

But Saint Joseph’s marketing professor Scott Testa says this may be a realm the FTC will have trouble controlling.

“It’s so subjective in so many different areas I think it would be very hard to regulate that.”
